Jamie Delman

Jamie Delman

Before going to law school, Jamie was a high school math teacher in Miami. While a teacher, Jamie had the opportunity to visit Alaska as part of his school’s outdoor education program. On that first trip here, he quickly became enamored of the place: its vistas, its wildness, its energy.

And so, a few years after that trip, and after Jamie had graduated law school at the University of Florida and received his LLM in taxation from New York University, Jamie decided to take a leap, a far leap, and practice law here – in the place that had so moved him a few years prior. He hasn’t looked back.

Jamie tremendously enjoys helping clients plan their legacies. And while he is no longer a teacher by profession, he is still a teacher at heart: he takes great pride in being able to explain legal complexities clearly, concisely and in plain English.

When Jamie is not working, he enjoys hiking and biking around the Anchorage area accompanied by Shakespeare, his yellow lab.
